The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of a former K-9. In a post on Facebook the Sheriff’s Office announced that retired K-9 Tazar passed away.
K-9 Tazar served the Henry County Sheriff’s Office with exceptional courage. During his career, he was proudly handled by Investigator Whitlock and later by Investigator Everett Harper. Tazar played a vital role in countless operations and was a trusted partner both in the field and within our department.
Throughout his career, K-9 Tazar was an invaluable asset to our team. His service, and courage helped keep our community safe, and his impact will never be forgotten.
