Caesars Virginia made a large donation to a local non-profit on Friday. The resort and casino gifted Danville-Pittsylvania Habitat for Humanity with a $35,000 grant.
The funding will go towards the Aging in Place program, made possible by Caesars Foundation. The program helps older adults age at home and in communities of their choice.
The local Habitat affiliates collaborate with human services organizations to evaluate individual needs and provide critical home repairs, modifications and community services specific to each homeowner’s lifestyle to preserve their home and their independence.
