Danville Public Schools has been recognized as one of the Top Virginia Employers for Interns by the Virginia Talent and Opportunity Partership (V-Top). DPS was named the recipient for Region 3.

The award given annually celebrates employers who provide high-quality internships to college students. Some of the noteworthy efforts of employers include exposing interns to senior leaders, structured mentorship programs, and training for industry certifications.  

DPS offers summer internships to high school and college students, as well as work-based learning opportunities during the school year.
