On Friday, God’s Storehouse announced they were selected for a T-Mobile Hometown Grant for $50,000. There were over 800 applicants for the grant and God’s Storehouse was one of the 25 organizations that was selected.

God’s Storehouse will use the grant to expand the weekend feeding program for children into Pittsylvania County. God’s Storehouse has also used the grant to purchase a new cargo van to assist with deliveries.

God’s Storehouse’s Malcolm Huckabee Backpacks Program on average fed 199 students weekly during the 2023-24 school year at Head Start and Woodberry Hills Elementary School.
