Average gas prices across Virginia are down by four cents this week to $3.31 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country remained the same at $3.44 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville remained the same at $3.11, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by four cents to $3.13 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price is down by a nickel to $3.17 and in Henry County the average price is down by two cents at $3.18. Prices in Halifax County are down by eight cents to $3.27 a gallon.
