The latest situation report from the City of Danville says flood projections for the Dan River are being lowered. The river remains below flood stage and is projected to crest at 23.4 feet at 8 p.m. The flood stage is 21 feet.

The City of Danville also reports that all roads are currently open and there are currently no power outages. Crews worked overnight to return service to all customers.
