One man was injured during a shooting on Route 58 in Halifax County on Friday night. According to The Gazette-Virginian,  a 59-year-old man was injured during a shooting on Friday night that involved two vehicles.

The shooting happened at around 9:30 pm and happened after an altercation that occurred between people in two vehicles. The man that was injured was taken to a hospital in Roanoke with non-life threatening injuries.

A suspect in a Dodge Durango was stopped by the Danville Police Department and the unidentified driver was apprehended.
