Revenue at the Danville Casino climbed in August after being down for two consecutive months. Caesars Virginia brought in just under $20.5 million in August up from just over $18.8 million in July.
Over $15.6 million came from slots, while over $4.8 million of the revenue was made from table games. Of the three casinos in Virginia, Caesars Virginia was second in revenue in August behind Rivers Casino Portsmouth at over $26.6 million and ahead of Hard Rock Bristol at over $15.9 million.
The City of Danville will get over $1.2 million in tax revenue for the month. Danville has now made over $16 million in tax revenue since Caesars Virginia opened.
