On Tuesday night, Danville City Council approved a request from Air Methods Corporation for the City of Danville to enter into a land lease agreement to construct a modular building at the Danville Regional Airport to support Air Ambulance Operations.

Air Methods Corporation is currently providing air ambulance service for the Danville Hospital and requested to construct a modular building at the Danville Regional Airport to support this operation.

The company also requested to rent a hangar at the Danville Airport to store the helicopter that would be used to complete air ambulance service. The modular building is needed to provide quarters for air ambulance personnel.
