Pittsylvania County residents and businesses impacted by the September 27 tornado in Dry Fork can self-report any damage to the Virginia Department of Emergency Management data base.
This information will be shared with Pittsylvania County officials so that the damage can be recorded and validated. It also allows VDEM and Pittsylvania County to include damage that wasn’t reported in the immediate aftermath of the tornado.
This form requests insurance information and photos can be uploaded as well. Damage reported by property owners and businesses will be used by VDEM to for state damage reporting purposes.
