Averett University is partnering with West Main Baptist Church to collect donations for victims of Hurricane Helene. Donations will be transported by Averett’s Aeronautics Team this Saturday, along with several other Averett teams driving into impacted areas.

Some of the items needed for donations include water, toiletries, hygiene items, diapers, blankets, batteries, and flashlights. The donations are being collected in the West Main Baptist fellowship hall during office hours and at Averett’s Welcome House and the Center for Community Engagement & Career Competitiveness.
