One person has been arrested and another suspect is still wanted following multiple incidents in Danville early Sunday. Around 2:40 am, officers responded to the 100 block of Mount Cross Rd. at Gold and Diamond Jewelry for a burglary alarm where it was discovered the business had been broken into, and there was damage to property inside. An undisclosed amount of jewelry was stolen from the business.

Upon further investigation 23-year-old Nicholas Guest was developed as a suspect and arrested. Guest has been charged with burglary and is in the Danville City Jail under no bond.

Danville Police are also investigating a robbery that occurred during the morning at Valero Fast Mart in the 1400 block of South Boston Rd. At 5 am officers responded to an armed robbery call at the business.

A male suspect produced a knife, demanded money, and took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot. The suspect is described as a short male wearing a gray hoodie with a face mask. This incident remains under investigation.
