The Danville Fire Department responded to two fires over the weekend at the same address. Crews responded to the first fire at 5:44 pm on Friday at 181 Kimberly Avenue.
Crews found the house with heavy fire and smoke showing. Due to the amount of fire crews were unable to make entry to the house until the bulk of the fire was knocked down from the outside. Crews were able to quickly transition to an interior attack and search operations. Crews had the fire under control in about 20 minutes.
The Danville Fire Department responded to the second fire at 181 Kimberly Ave. at 2:10 am on Saturday. Crews found the house with heavy fire showing in the rear of the house. An attack line was pulled, and the fire was brought under control in approximately 30 minutes. No injuries were reported in either fire and the fire is under investigation by the Danville Fire Marshal’s Office.
