There were no injuries during a fire in Danville on Monday night. The  Danville Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire at 301 Briarwood Dr.

Upon arrival, units saw light smoke showing from the rear of the structure and hand lines were deployed for fire attack in conjunction with a search of the structure.

All occupants were outside the structure and accounted for, however a search was conducted to confirm no one was inside the structure. The fire was contained to the kitchen area of the structure and the rest of the house obtained smoke damage from the fire. 

The fire department was assisted by Danville Utilities and the Danville Life Saving Crew. The occupants are being assisted by the Red Cross, 6 occupants and 1 pet was displaced due to the fire.
