The Danville Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a scam. According to the sheriff’s office, residents have been receiving calls claiming to be Danville Sheriff’s Deputy A. Roberson and other Law Enforcement personnel. The individual or individuals making these calls is claiming to be collecting money for various purposes.

The Danville Sheriff’s Office does not place calls requesting money or collecting fines. Do not give money out over the phone under any circumstances.  If you have any questions, please contact the Danville Sheriff’s office at (434)799-5135.
