An Eden man has been arrested on several charges including statutory rape. The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, working in collaboration with the Eden Police Department, has charged Creshawn Lee Brown, 28, of Eden, N.C., for felony kidnapping, eight counts of statutory rape of a child less than or equaled to 15 Years of Age and two counts of violating the sex offender registry.

Brown has also been charged with violating his probation by the N.C. Department of Adult Corrections.

These charges result from a thorough investigation by the collaborating law enforcement agencies and following consultation with the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office. Brown was arrested and placed in the Rockingham County Detention Facility under no bond.
