A national nonprofit has announced a partnership that will provide over 500 pairs of shoes to students at a Danville elementary school.
Nonprofit Shoes That Fit has announced its fourth-year national partnership with GEICO that will provide more than 6,500 pairs of brand-new athletic shoes to students in need. The donation event in Danville on Thursday is also a partnership with the Wendell Scott Foundation.
GEICO Philanthropic Foundation will be donating 535 pairs of shoes and socks to every child attending the distribution event at Schoolfield Elementary on Thursday. Warrick and Chinique Scott with the Wendell Scott Foundation will also be in attendance and assist with passing out shoes to students.
