(Danville, Va.) — A Danville teenager who was wounded Wednesday night has been released from the hospital, but police say they still have little information and no suspects in the shooting.
Danville Police responded to 1212 Paxton Street about 10:00 Wednesday night and found an 18-year-old standing on the sidewalk. He’d been shot in the shoulder and was taken to the hospital, where he was released following treatment on Thursday.
Investigators are still trying to determine whether the shooting took place on Paxton or some other location.
There were no reports of gunshots in the area at that time.
Police do not have a motive or a suspect in the shooting.
