HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police say one person was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Halifax County.

Police say a pickup crashed and overturned at Mount Laurel Road and Rodgers Chapel Road.

One person is confirmed dead. Their name is being withheld pending notification of family.

The crash remains under investigation.
