PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – North Carolina authorities have arrested a suspect in Sunday’s break-in at Guns, Gear and Ammo.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office reports that Aaron Ramsey, Jr. of Durham, N.C was taken into custody in his hometown. A warrant for breaking-and-entering was issued and investigators from Pittsylvania County traveled to Durham Wednesday to question Ramsey.

Ramsey is being held in North Carolina, where he faces additional charges.

Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an entry at the Cascade gun shop early Sunday morning. Surveillance video showed a man cutting his way through a gate to gain access to the building.

Once inside, the thief discovered that all of the guns were locked up and he left empty handed.
