HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. – Halifax County investigators have charged two men with a trio of armed robberies in Halifax and Campbell Counties.

21-year-old Shyheim Williams and 23-year-old Tyquanta Moorman, both of South Boston, have been charged with the August 11 robbery of the Dollar General on Chatham Road, a July 11 hold-up at the County Express in Volens, and a September 29 robbery at the Dollar General in Brookneal.

Both face three counts of armed robbery, three counts of burglary and three counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Williams and Moorman are being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail with no bond.

Additional charges are pending.
