ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. – A man who pulled a bag of pot from his pocket while passing through a courtroom security check is now being held under a $3,000 secured bond.
Rockingham County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 59-year-old Anthony Gilliam Clements inside the courthouse. They say Clements pulled the marijuana from his pocket while passing through the security checkpoint. He is charged with possession of about one-half ounce of marijuana.
Clements was arrested without incident and is being held in the Rockingham County Detention Center.
He is set to appear in court on Friday, Oct. 25.
