HENRY COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police have identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed in Henry County Monday night.

72-year-old Thomas Wagner was attempting to cross Figsboro Road when he was hit by a northbound Econoline E-150 van. The accident happened  around 8:25 p.m., near Quail Oaks Road in Henry County.

Wagner died as a result of his injuries.

The accident remains under investigation but no charges were filed against the driver of the van.
