RINGGOLD, Va. – A fire and explosion damaged or destroyed about a dozen camping trailers at R.V. Outlet U.S.A. on South Boston Road in Ringgold Thursday afternoon.
Ringgold Volunteer firefighters were joined by other agencies after a propane tank explosion started the fire shortly after noon.
Ringgold Fire Chief Mike Neal says three trailers were destroyed by fire and ten more sustained heat and smoke damage.
The Pittsylvania County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause. There were no injuries.
Crews from Kentuck, Blairs and Milton assisted Ringgold firefighters.
