(Clover, Va.) — A 22-year-old Halifax County man is charged with intentionally ramming his car into a house Monday morning, injuring another man.
Jacob Taylor of Clover is charged with felonious assault with intent to maim after he reportedly rammed his vehicle into a house on MacDonald Road, striking a man. Due to the severity of his injuries, the victim was airlifted to Duke Medical Center in Durham.
Authorities responded to disturbance call in the Scottsburg community Monday morning. They say the victim was standing in the front doorway when he was struck by Taylor’s vehicle.
Taylor is being held at Blue Ridge Regional Jail under no bond and additional charges are pending.
