Virginia is now reporting 324 COVID-19-related deaths, up from 300 on Sunday. Two of those deaths are in the Danville area.

The Virginia Department of Health says that out of the 9,630 cases, 9,451 are confirmed and 179 are probable.

640 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 9,630.

1,581 patients are hospitalized with the virus.
