FLORENCE, S.C. – Three young children who were the focus of an AMBER Alert Wednesday have been found safe, and both parents are behind bars.

Ruby Allison, the mother of Collin Allison, Emma Allison, and step-mother to Cameron Allison, was stopped while driving an SUV on I-95, near Florence, South Carolina, Wednesday afternoon.

The mother and kids had gotten as far as Florida, where she apparently picked up the children’s grandparents before deciding to return home to Roanoke.

John Allison’s parents were also in the Chevy Suburban, but are not facing criminal charges. The grandparents live in the Jacksonville area.

Ruby was arrested during a traffic stop around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Her husband, John, was stopped and taken into custody earlier in the day
