DANVILLE, Va. – The Danville Police Department has made an arrest in a shooting that took place on April 28.

20-year-old Keith O’Brien Hairston faces charges in the incident and surrendered to police on Monday, May 4.

Investigators said at the time that Hairston fired shots into his girlfriend’s home. Several people were inside the house at the time but no one was injured.

Police responded to the call but Hairston had fled by the time they arrived.

Hairston is charged with discharging a firearm into a home and with use of a firearm in the commission of felony.

Hairston is currently being held in the Danville City jail without bond.
