HENRY COUNTY, Va. – A man’s body has been recovered from a car that ran down an embankment in Henry County, four days after he was last seen alive.

Virginia State Police say 24-year-old Tyshawn Williams, of Martinsville, was headed east on River Road near Shady View Drive Sunday night when he hit a guardrail, over-corrected, then traveled down an embankment before his car came to a rest against some trees.

Family members found his the car with Williams inside on Thursday and notified authorities.

Williams’ body has been taken to the state medical examiner for an autopsy.
