DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Police are looking for a person of interest in a recent convenience store robbery.
Carter’s Quick Shoppe at 3103 West Main Street was robbed by a man who claimed he had a gun at about 8 a.m. on December 27. A witness described the robber as a black male, about 5’6” tall, wearing a facemask and a leather jacket with a gray hoodie.
The robber said that he had a gun, but never displayed a weapon and ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and lottery tickets.
Detectives developed a person of interest and they are trying to locate the man pictured in a store surveillance photo.
