MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Harbor Freight Tools is opening a new store in Martinsville at  240 Commonwealth Blvd. The store is expected to add 25-30 new jobs.

Construction has already begun at the location and work is slated for completion in the spring.

Harbor Freight also operates a store in Danville.

The company has more 21,000 employees and more than 1,100 locations nationwide.

The family-owned company started in Southern California in 1977.
