DANVILLE, Va. – The Danville-Pittsylvania County Health District will hold a mass inoculation clinic at the Community Market Friday, Jan. 29, but all available slots have been filled.
The Virginia Department of Health’s Pittsylvania/Danville Health District, in cooperation with Sovah Health-Danville, the City of Danville, Pittsylvania County and Averett University, will conduct the closed “point of dispensing” COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
Online registration preceded the event but all available times to receive the shots had been taken by Thursday afternoon.
This is the second in a series of large vaccination events being planned in Danville and Pittsylvania County.
To date, nearly 3,600 vaccines have been administered in Danville and more than 2,300 in Pittsylvania County.
