DANVILLE, Va. – SOVAH Health will allow limited visitation at its hospitals in Danville and Martinsville, starting Monday, March 15.

The updated restrictions will allow most patients to have one visitor or support person per day, effective immediately. Visitors are still not allowed for high-risk patients. Some exceptions may apply for patients receiving end-of-life care or are deemed a clinical necessity.

As part of the updated visitor restrictions, patients are now limited to one well visitor per day during certain visitation hours. Visitation hours are 7 days a week from 10:00am – 12:00pm and also from 5:00pm – 8:00pm.

Only one visitor will be allowed during each time block.
