HENRY COUNTY, Va. – State Police say a juvenile was killed and three others were injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Henry County Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 8:24 a.m. in the 5100 block of Soapstone Road.

There was one fatality and three people were transported to area hospitals for treatment of serious injuries. All were juveniles and all four were students at Magna Vista High School.

The Henry County school district identified 17-year-old Nick Pruitt — a senior at Magna Vista High School– as the person who was killed in the car crash.

Counselors were on hand at the school Thursday to assist other students.

No additional information was available Friday morning.

A statement from Virginia State Police said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
