DANVILLE, Va. – The Scorpions Motorcycle Club has come through again for the children of Danville.
The organization has completed its 36th Annual Toy Run for underprivileged children here on the Southside. Organizer James LaPrade and his group presented hundreds of toys to the Salvation Army Wednesday during an event hosted by VFW Post 1097.
LaPrade said while there were fewer participants this year, those who gave were extremely generous.
The Scorpions will also make a monetary donation during a December 10 event sponsored by WAKG.
