GILES COUNTY, Va. – The woman charged with kidnapping a toddler from a church day care center in Virginia has now been indicted on felony charges.

A grand jury has returned true bills of indictment against Nancy Fridley, who will answer charges of abducting, abusing and neglecting a two-year-old Giles County boy.

Police say Fridley took the boy from Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead last May.

Investigators tracked Fridley to a trailer park, where she and an accomplice were arrested a day after the alleged abduction. The toddler was unharmed but his head had been shaved.

Investigators say Fridley visited New Valley Fellowship Church and Mountain View Ministries, both in Narrows, earlier on the morning of the abduction. They believe Fridley was in the vicinity of both churches about a month prior to the abduction.

Fridley is scheduled to enter a plea on Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. in Giles County Circuit Court.
