CASWELL COUNTY, N.C. – The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting death that happened at Lucky’s, a nightspot located just outside Danville on Rt. 86 in North Carolina.
The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office is carrying the case as a homicide but authorities have released few details about the incident, which happened early Sunday morning. The victim was pronounced dead at Sovah Health Danville.
The office described this as “an active investigation” with more information expected at a later time.
This marks the second homicide at the bar in as many years. In March 2020, Keith Hayes, of Danville was shot and killed at Lucky’s.
