BLACKSBURG, Va. – A second arrest has been made in Friday’s fatal shooting at a Blacksburg hookah bar.

Blacksburg Police have charged 28-year-old Jalen Mykal Pierce of Roanoke as being an accessory after the fact to first-degree murder for his role in the shooting that took place last Friday night in Blacksburg, killing 18-year-old Patrick Henry High School student Isiah Robinson and injuring four others.

Late Saturday night, police arrested 24-year-old Jamel Flint, who faces a first-degree murder charge and four counts of attempted murder. He’s set for arraignment on the charges today and continues to be held without bond.

Pierce appeared before the Roanoke City Magistrate and was released after posting a $10,000 unsecured bond.

According to the Blacksburg Police Department, at 11:53 p.m. Friday, they responded to the report of shots fired at the Melody Hookah Lounge N. Main St. in downtown Blacksburg. They arrived to find Robinson dead and four others injured.

Flint fled but was arrested the following night in Roanoke, without incident.
