AXTON, Va. – More than $100,000 in drugs, three vehicles, four guns, two body armor suits and over $67,000 cash were seized recently as part of a major undercover drug operation in Henry County.
Investigators executed a search warrant at 121 Kimway Dr. Thursday and confiscated about two pounds of Fentanyl, one-and-a half pounds of methamphetamine and a half-pound of cocaine. The drugs have an estimated street valued in excess of $100,000.
Two arrests were made. Authorities charged Tynanhry Termaine Watkins, 31 of Axton, with multiple felonies, including possession with the intent to distribute more than 100 grams of methamphetamine and a Schedule I and II controlled substance, along with possession of a firearm as a convicted felon.
Also charged with possession of drugs with intent to distribute was 46-year-old Melinda Lynn Craft of Axton. Both are being held without bond at the Henry County Jail.
Authorities say they expect to file additional charges in their investigation.
