PITTYSLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – A country music festival set for the Blairs Amphitheater was earlier postponed. Now, organizers say it’s been canceled and that all ticket-holders will receive refunds.

The Blue Ridge County Music Festival – set for May 13-15 – will not take place. Refunds are being issued through Etix and the festival’s organizers say they plan to return next year in a new location with dates that are more favorable to the audience.

The announcement follows problems with a rock festival at the same venue. Some vendors complained that they weren’t paid. Pittsylvania County authorities had to step in to regulate traffic around the amphitheater and campgrounds.

The festival’s website and Facebook page have been deleted.
