Danville recorded record sales tax revenues in December, and the increase is attributed to a surge in online sales and inflation. According to a report by City Finance Director Michael Adkins, sales tax revenues from the start of the 2021-22 fiscal year last July 1st are up by $600,000 over the previous year, and are at 73% of budget.
