Nearly 70 dogs are removed from a home in Hurt after a search warrant was served on Tuesday. Police say many of the dogs found at the Peninsula Place home were in poor condition. Law enforcement brought in a veterinarian to evaluate the canines before they were removed and taken to the Pittsylvania Pet Center. Police say the investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
