A fire broke out Saturday evening at a Danville apartment complex. According to Danville Fire officials it was in a first-floor unit at a Richmond Boulevard complex. Firefighters got the flames extinguished before it spread to other apartments but the other units were evacuated as a precaution. The building was not structurally damaged. There were no reports of injuries and the fire’s cause is under investigation.
