This Is National Crime Victim’s Rights Week and the City of Danville unveiled new initiatives to help those people. The first is a Homicide Support Group and the other is called “Bringing Resources After Violence” which according to police helps investigators take a deeper look at crimes and how much help victims need. Danville Police Captain of Investigations David Whitley tells WSLS that there are no victimless crimes and they hope these new programs will help those left behind.
