The Pittsylvania Pet Center resumed adoption appointments on a limited basis on Tuesday. Appointments can be made between 1:00 p.m and 4:00 p.m. through Saturday at pittsylvaniacountava.gov/adoptions. Officials say regular hours will resume last week. The shelter recentlu took in close to 70 dogs seized from a home in Hurt and was forced to stop public hours. The shelter thanks those who volunteered to help care for the dogs and there is still a need for volunteer help.
