The Danville Metropolitan Planning Organization is working to get state funding for a pair of road improvement projects. According to ABC13 the organization wants the state to approve the Berry Hill Connector Road Expansion Project and the Piedmont Drive Pedestrian Accommodations project. The projects are estimated to cost just over $73 million and wouldn’t begin for 5 or 6 years. A proposal could be submitted to the state by the end of next month.
