Chatham Police are investigating the death of a woman found in her home during a check on her welfare. Police tell the Star-Tribune it happened last Wednesday and the woman’s husband was airlifted to a trauma center where he is still recovering. The couple is in their 70s. So far investigators haven’t determined what led up to the incident and haven’t made any arrests but did say this was an isolated incident.
