The Virginia Forestry Association presents its Logger Merit Award to Nathan Harker and his company, Pittsylvania Forest Products. According to the Star-Tribune Harker won the award for exemplifying the highest professional standards of the forestry industry. Harker says it’s very rewarding just to be recognized and it’s very humbling at the same time. He added they are ready to just go back to work and focus on doing an even better job in the future.
