Danville Police arrest a 19-year-old man in the shooting Sunday outside a Memorial Drive convenience store that sent a man to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. According to a department social media post the man was taken into custody Tuesday at an apartment on Springfield Rd. Investigators say the victim and suspect had interacted before the shooting and that this wasn’t a random incident. The suspect is held without bond.
