Danville School Superintendent Angela Hairston appeared at Tuesday’s City Council meeting and was asked about a number of issues. According to WSET lawmakers are concerned about poor communication, academic performance and employee turnover rates along with school accredidation. Hairston assures the council that things are turning around saying test scores are improving and the school bosrd was surprised at those numbers. The council is offering its assistance to the district to help in any way they can.
